Eveliina Summanen joins Tottenham from a Swedish side, Kristianstads DFF. She signed a contract until June 2023, with an option for an additional year.
The 23-year-old debuted on senior level in her home, Finnish championship, wearing HJK’s shirt. After 63 appearances in the Finnish top flight, she moved to neighbouring Swedish league and signed for KIF Örebro. The Finnish international midfielder played there for one season before making a switch to league rivals Kristianstads. In total, she played over 60 games in the Swedish Damallsvenskan. 34-times Finland international, will join her fellow countrywoman, Tinja-Riikka Korpela at Spurs.
