Geummin Lee stays with Brighton

Geummin Lee stays with Brighton on a permanent basis after already spending the previous season on loan from Manchester City.

The 27-year-old, who arrived to England in 2019, made 18 appearances and scored three goals for Brighton in the last season of the Women’s Super League. Prior to joining Manchester City, Lee played for Seoul WFC and Gyeongju in her home country. The South Korean international also has more than 40 appearances for the national team.

“I am happy to sign for Brighton and I can’t wait to play in front of the fans,” Lee said in her first message for the fans.
