Geyse Ferreira makes Manchester United move

Geyse Ferreira makes Manchester United move, joining the club from FC Barcelona.

The 25-year-old spent just one season in the Catalan capital after joining Blaugrana from Madrid CFF. Previously, the Brazilian forward played for various Brazilian clubs before moving to Europe in 2017, when she joined Madrid CFF for the first time. After one season in Madrid, she spent one season in Portugal with Benfica before re-joining Madrid CFF in 2020. In the last season, Geyse played 37 matches and scored 10 goals in Liga F.

“I am very happy to be here. Signing for United has been a very special day for me and my family. I am very grateful for this opportunity and thank everyone for making it happen,” said Geyse. United also recently signed Gemma Evans.
