Heather Payne signs for Everton after finishing her college career in the States. She penned a two-year contract.
The 23-year-old played for Peamount United and Bristol City before moving across the Atlantic for a four-year spell in the United States with college side Florida State Seminoles. The Irish international midfielder already played 12 matches in the Women’s Super League during her time in Bristol. The Toffees already signed Emily Ramsey, Justine Vanhaevermaet, Emma Bissell, Karoline Olesen and Martina Piemonte.
“I’m really excited to become an Everton player. This is a great club and one that has a track record of developing talent. I’ve always wanted to come back and play in England. I think it’s one of the best leagues in the world,” added Payne.
