Jade Pennock transfers to Birmingham City from Sheffield United. She signs a one-year contract with an option for an additional year.
The 28-year-old has played in Women’s Championship over the course of the last few seasons. After her college career in the USA, she played for Harrogate Town and Doncaster Belles before joining Sheffield in 2018. In three seasons with the Blades, Pennock made 67 appearances and scored 29 goals in the second tier of English women’s football.
“I’m glad to finally get it all sorted and excited to get going. For me, it is the challenge of playing at the next level. I’ve wanted to do it for a while and that’s what attracted me to the Club. I just want to get going and do well. As a player, I want to help the team as much as I can, whether that be with assists or goals. It will be a challenge, but I think it is one I am ready for – I don’t shy away from hard work,” Pennock said for bcfc.com.
