Janice Cayman joins Leicester City

Janice Cayman joins Leicester City from Olympique Lyon.

The 34-year-old started her senior career with Belgian side, OH Leuven in 2007. Followed by a spell in the US, she returned to Europe and signed with FCF Juvisy, followed by 2-year stay with Montpellier. In 2019, the Belgian midfielder signed for Lyon, where she played ever since. Cayman is the player with the most caps for the Belgian national team with 137 appearances.

“It’s been a warm welcome and I’m very happy to be here. It’s a new country to play football for me, but maybe one of the biggest countries to play in. It will be a big challenge but it’s very exciting to be in a new league, to meet new teams and to just give it my all,” said Cayman, who joins Lena Petermann and Janina Leitzig as the latest newcomer.
