Jayde Riviere signs for Manchester United from US side, AFC Ann Arbor. She signed a contract until June 2025. United also announced arrival of Estelle Cascarino on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old Riviere finished her college career last year and joined amateur US team, AFC Ann Arbor, while waiting for the right offer. The Canadian defender, who has over 30 caps for the national team, was part of the gold medal-winning team at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
“I am a huge Manchester United fan, so this is a dream come true for me to sign here. I’m really looking forward to developing and learning at this huge football club, and I can’t wait to use all my playing attributes to help us achieve our joint goals on the pitch,” added Riviere.
