Jelena Čanković signs for Chelsea, joining the club from FC Rosengård. She penned a three-year deal until June 2025.
The 27-year-old started her career with Spartak Subotica, where she played on two occasions. After brief spells with FC Barcelona and Ferencváros in Hungary, the Serbian midfielder moved to Sweden, signing for Växjö and later with Rosengård, where she played for the last three years.
“I am really excited to join Chelsea and it feels great to be able to play in a team with such a winning culture and great players. I am looking forward to seeing the fans and playing in front of them,” said Čanković, who joins Johanna Kaneryd, Lucy Watson, Kadeisha Buchanan, Katerina Svitkova and Eve Perisset as Blues’ latest summer arrival.
