Jens Scheuer leaves Brighton post

Jens Scheuer leaves Brighton post by mutual agreement, the club announced today. Amy Merricks will take interim charge until his successor is found.

The 44-year-old took over the Seagulls at the end of last year. Former Bayern coach led Brighton on 7 matches but apart from a couple FA cup wins, the team managed to secure only one point in the Women’s Super League. Seagulls are currently penultimate with 8 points.

It is still unknown who will be appointed as a long-term solution on the Brighton’s bench.
