Jess Carter extends with Chelsea

Jess Carter extends with Chelsea and will stay with the Blues for three more seasons, until June 2025.

The 24-year-old started her career with Birmingham City but moved to London in 2018, when she signed with Chelsea. In June, she already signed a new deal but after a successful Women’s Euro in the summer, Carter is now committed to Chelsea on a longer basis. The English defender has since become the key figure in Emma Hayes’ squad. In the last season, Carter played 36 matches across all competitions. With Chelsea, she won three Women’s Super League titles.

“I’m very excited and proud to extend my contract at Chelsea for three more years. I’m looking forward to continuing my development with the team, helping them to become even more successful,” said Carter.
