Jill Scott loaned to Aston Villa

Jill Scott loaned to Aston Villa from Manchester City, where she will stay until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old is one of the most experienced English footballers. After a spell with Sunderland, Scott established herself in Everton, for whom she played between 2006 and 2013. After that, the midfielder, with over 150 caps for the English national team, joined Manchester City. Since then, she made almost 200 appearances for the club and won the Women’s Super League in 2016. She will spend the second half of the season on loan, looking for more game time, the same as last year, when City loaned her to Everton for the second half.
“I’m really excited, I feel like a kid on the first day of school. It is a fantastic club and when I have seen the plans and spoke to Carla, I was just blown away by it,” said Scott in her first interview for Aston Villa.
