Jodie Taylor signs for Arsenal

Jodie Taylor signs for Arsenal following contract expiration with the US side, San Diego Wave. She signed a deal until the end of the season.

The 36-year-old returns to Arsenal, where she already played during 2016/17 season, when she made 17 appearances and scored 10 goals. The English striker, who played in Australia, Sweden, France and USA, will try to help Gunners returning into the title race. Arsenal are currently 4th, five points behind 1st placed Chelsea.

“It feels amazing to be back – like I never left. It’s incredible to have this opportunity to come back to the club that I love so much. A lot of progression has happened here in the last five years since I was last here and to see how much the club has grown and progressed is incredible. I’m very happy to be here,” said Taylor for arsenal.com.
