Julia Zigiotti and Emma Kullberg join Brighton

Julia Zigiotti and Emma Kullberg join Brighton and Hove Albion from a Swedish side, BK Hacken. They both signed contract until June 2023.

For the 30-year-old Emma Kullberg this will be her first experience abroad after she played for nine different Swedish clubs so far. In 2020, she won Damallsvenskan as Göteborg player. In the current season, the Swedish defender, with 9 caps for the national team, also played in the Women’s Champions League.

Kullberg’s BK Hacken teammate, Julia Zigiotti is also leaving Sweden for the first time in her career. After playing for AIK and Hammabry, she joined Hacken in 2018. The Swedish forward with Italian origin, has also made 17 appearances for the Swedish national team.

Both players, who are dating in their personal life, signed an 18-month contract with Brighton.
