Julie Thibaud transfers to Leicester City from a French side, Bordeaux. She signed a two-year contract until June 2025.
The 25-year-old played for Sochaux before joining Bordeaux in 2017. The French defender also collected three caps for the national team during the tournament earlier this year. In total, Thibaud played 88 matches during her time with the club from the West of France. The Foxes also signed Jutta Rantala, Lize Kop, Janice Cayman, Lena Petermann and Janina Leitzig.
“I am very happy to sign for this Club. I feel like I can grow as a player and as a person here. This league is the future of women’s football and I want to be part of that,” added Thibaud.
