Jutta Rantala moves to Leicester City from a Swedish side, Vittsjö GIK. She signed a two-year contract.
The 23-year-old played in her native Finland for NiceFutis, TPS, FC Honka and HJK before moving to Sweden and joining Kristianstads for one-year spell. In 2022, the Finnish forwad signed for Vittsjö, where she made 57 appearances across all competitions. Rantala is also part of the national team, currently sitting at 16 caps. The Foxes also recently signed Lize Kop, Janice Cayman, Lena Petermann and Janina Leitzig.
“It’s exciting to play in a new league and against some of the world’s best players. It’s a new culture here for me in England – it’s obviously different to Sweden and I’m excited to experience that,” said Rantala.
