Katie McCabe pens a new deal with Arsenal

Katie McCabe pens a new deal with Arsenal and will stay with the Gunners also in the future seasons.

The 28-year-old plays in London since 2015, when she left her native Ireland. The national team captain, who is approaching 90 caps for The Girls in Green, made a total of 193 appearances for Arsenal and won Women’s Super League in the 2018/19 season. In the last season, McCabe played 38 matches and was named in the Women’s Champions League team of the season.

“Arsenal is home for me and I’m excited to have committed my future to this football club. I’ve grown up here as a player and a person and developed a really special bond with our supporters, which means a lot to me,” added McCabe for arsenal.com.
