Katie Startup pens a new deal with Brighton

Katie Startup pens a new deal with Brighton & Hove Albion for an undisclosed duration.

The 24-year-old started her career with Chelsea, followed by spell with Charlton Athletic before joining the Seagulls in 2020. Initially, spending two seasons on loan with Charlton and Liverpool, the English goalkeeper mostly acts as a substitute. Startup played four matches during her time with Brighton.

“We are excited that Katie has extended her stay with us in Brighton. She’s an incredibly hard-working and determined player who adds to the competitive nature amongst the team, both on and off the training pitch,” Head coach Melissa Phillips said.
