Katie Zelem renews with Manchester United

Katie Zelem renews with Manchester United and will stay with the Red devils for the next two seasons, until June 2024.
The 26-year-old Manchester native played for United’s biggest rivals, Liverpool, at the start of her career. After a brief spell in Italy with Juventus, the English midfielder joined Manchester in 2018, when the women’s section was formed. Since then, the Red Devils’ captain played 99 matches and scored 27 goals. Grace Clinton Rachel Williams and Adriana Leon have already signed for Manchester during current transfer window.
“’m delighted to extend my contract here at United. Being captain of this wonderful football club is a privilege and something that I am honoured to continue into another exciting season for this group of players,” said Zelem.
