Katrina Gorry joins West Ham United from a Swedish side, Vittsjö GIK.
The 31-year-old is an experienced Australian international with 105 caps for Matildas. She played in Australia, Canada, United States, Japan, and Norway before moving to Allsvenskan in 2022. Gorry, who plays in midfield, had the longest spell with Brisbane Roar, where she stayed for eight seasons.
“I’m really pleased to sign for West Ham United. The club spoke my language. West Ham is a family club and that was a big factor for me wanting to join. I’ve felt the support from everyone straight away and there is no better place for me to be right now,” said Gorry, who joins Kristie Mewis as the latest arrival.
