Katrine Veje signs for Everton

Katrine Veje signs for Everton, joining from Rosengard on a two-year deal until June 2024.

The 31-year-old already has some experience from the Women’s Super League, when she played for Arsenal in the 2019/20 season. Apart from that, the Danish left-back spent most of her career playing in Sweden and Denmark, but also had a brief spell in the US and France. Veje also has 140 caps for the Danish national team.

“I’m so happy to be at Everton. It’s a big club and it feels good to be back in the league. I always had a dream to come back to the league – Everton are such a big club as well – so it’s a dream come true,” added Veje, who is another summer arrival for the Toffees, after Katja Snoeijs, Sara and Karen Holmgaard.
