Kerstin Casparij signs for Manchester City

Kerstin Casparij signs for Manchester City, joining the club from a Dutch side, Twente. She signed a three-year contract.

The 21-year-old played for Heerenveen and Alkmaar before signing for Twente in 2020. The Dutch midfielder has made a total of over 120 appearances in Eredivise despite her young age. Casparij also played 13 matches for the national team, including 4 in the Women’s Euro 2022. City also signed Sandy MacIver, Mary Fowler, Laia Alexandri, Leila Ouahabi and Deyna Castellanos during the past couple of weeks.

“I’m overjoyed –I have no words to describe how happy I am to be a Manchester City player and I can’t wait to play for this beautiful club,” added Casparij.
