Kirsty Hanson moves to Aston Villa

Kirsty Hanson moves to Aston Villa from league rivals, Manchester United. She penned a two-year deal, with the option of a further year.

The 25-year-old already played for Villa during the last season as a loaned player from Manchester United. Previously, Scottish forward played for Sheffield F.C. and Doncaster Rovers. After playing almost 90 matches for United, Hanson also became a regular with Aston Villa. In the last season, she made 28 appearances and scored eight goals. She joins Lucy Parker as the latest newcomer.

“I’m now delighted to say I’m officially Aston Villa player. I’m excited for this next chapter & be part of this special team,” wrote Hanson on Twitter.
