Laura Coombs extends with Manchester City

Laura Coombs extends with Manchester City and will stay in the club for two more years, until 2023.

The 29-year-old joined Manchester City from Liverpool in 2019. After a handful of loan spells during her team at Merseyside and previously with Chelsea, Coobs has more playing time with Manchester City. So far, she has made 34 appearances and scored five goals for City.

“It feels great to have signed a new contract here at City – it was an easy choice for me to make. I feel settled and happy, both on and off the pitch, so it was a natural decision for me to stay. It’s an amazing environment to be a part of – we are treated like ultimate professionals and as players, we can’t ask for anything more,” Coombs said.
