Lauren Hemp renews with Manchester City, where she arrived to in 2018. She signed a contract extension for two additional years.
The 21-year-old arrived to Manchester after debuting on senior level with Bristol City. So far, the English forward made 81 appearances and scored 28 goals for City. Hemp debuted in the English national team already at age 19. She was also declared PFA Women’s Young Player of the Year in 2017/18, 2019/20 and 2020/21. The talented striker is now tied to Manchester City until the end of the 2023/24 season.
“I’m delighted to have signed a contract extension here at City. It’s a club where we’re constantly competing for trophies and success – I’ve already enjoyed some amazing moments here since joining three-and-a-half years ago, and I know that there is much more to come from this team,” said Hemp for the club’s website.
