Lauren James pens a new deal with Chelsea and will stay with the Blues for at least four more years, until June 2027.
The 21-year-old was part of the Chelsea academy in youth categories before moving to city rivals, Arsenal, where she debuted on the senior level. In 2018, the English forward signed for Manchester United but returned to London after 3 years with the Red Devils. Since her return to Chelsea, James made 45 appearances and also debuted in the English national team last September.
“It’s an amazing feeling to extend my stay at the club I love and where I feel most at home. I’m looking forward to the future and I want to reach my full potential,” said James.
