Leanne Kiernan extends with Liverpool and will continue with the Reds also in the next seasons.
The 23-year-old joined Liverpool last year from West Ham United. Previously, the Irish striker played in her homeland for Shelbourne. After not getting a regular playing time with the Hammers, Kiernan moved to Liverpool, while the Reds were still in the Championship. With 14 goals in 26 matches, she was one of the key players in securing promotion to the Women’s Super League.
“This is a thrilling moment for me and my family, and a really exciting time. I think this club is kind of like home for me,” said Kiernan for the club’s website. Liverpool also recently renewed with Niamh Fahey, Rachael Laws, Leighanne Robe and Melissa Lawley.
