Leighanne Robe pens a new deal with Liverpool and will stay with the Reds also in the next season.
The 28-year-old played for Watford and Milwall before joining Liverpool in 2018. The English defender stayed with the club, when Reds got relegated to the Championship in 2020 and will now continue her stay in Liverpool also in the Women’s Super League. In total, Robe made 61 appearances for Liverpool. The Reds have previously already renewed with Melissa Lawley.
“I’m really happy to have signed a new deal and to be staying for the new season going into the WSL.It really doesn’t feel like I’ve been here for four years, I feel that reflects the team spirit we have at the moment and Matt coming in last year – I said then it literally felt like I’d joined a new team,” said Robe.
