Lena Petermann joins Leicester City from a French side, Montpellier.
The 29-year-old started her career with Hamburger SV. After a brief spell in the US college football, she returned to Germany and signed for Freiburg, where she spent four years. Followed by one-year stay with Turbine Potsdam, the German striker joined Montpellier in 2019. In the south of France, Petermann played 60 matches and scored 26 goals.
“It feels really great. I’m really excited to be here, to play and give everything for this Club. It’s always been my dream to play in this league – there’s so much quality and now I have this opportunity and I can’t wait to get started,” said Petermann. The Foxes also recently signed Janina Leitzig.
