Lisa Evans joins West Ham on loan for the next season from London rivals, Arsenal.
The 29-year-old made her first football steps in Glasgow City, where she debuted on the senior level. In 2012, the experienced winger signed her first professional contract with Turbine Potsdam and moved to Germany. After three seasons with Turbine, the Scottish international moved to FC Bayern München, where she won Frauen Bundesliga title. In 2017, Evans returned to the UK. In four seasons with the Gunners, she made 79 appearances and scored nine goals.
“I’m really looking forward to the season ahead with West Ham United. The move came about pretty quickly and when I saw the facilities and met the staff and some of the girls here at the club, it was an opportunity that was too good to turn down. I’m really excited for the season ahead,” said Evans for the club’s website.
