Liverpool sign Miri Taylor

Liverpool sign Miri Taylor from Angel City FC (Los Angeles).

The English midfielder moved to the States, where she played college football since 2018. Last year, the 22-year-old was drafter into the NWSL by Angel City. Taylor made 11 appearances for Los Angeles club. She already has first-team experience from England as well, when she debuted for Chelsea at the age of 16.

“It’s a dream come true really. My mum is a massive Liverpool fan, so just for her it’s amazing to be here and I’m really excited to get started. To come home and play in the Women’s Super League is always something I’ve wanted to do,” said Taylor. The Reds also signed Fuka Nagano and Sofie Lundgaaard.
