Louise Quinn signs for Birmingham City, arriving to the Second city from Fiorentina. She signed a two-year contract.

The 31-year-old started her career in her home country with Peamunt United before moving to Sweden. She spent three seasons with Eskilstuna United and joined Arsenal in 2017. With the Gunners, she won the League cup and Women’s Super League. Before the start of the last season, the Irish international moved to Italy, where she played in 26 matches across all competitions.

“I am really happy to be back in the WSL and to join a club like Birmingham. It is brilliant to be back and I’m looking forward to getting going. What the club offers, what it does and what it believes in, it is a battling team and I’m an Irish girl who’s always up for a battle,” added Quinn.

Louise Quinn is second Birmingham signing after Jade Pennock.
