Lucy Staniforth renews with Manchester United

Lucy Staniforth renews with Manchester United and will stay with the club until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old joined the Red Devils in 2020 from Birmingham City. Previously, the English midfielder also played for Sunderland, Lincoln Ladies, Bristol, and Liverpool. In total, Staniforth made 34 appearances and scored three goals for United, which also renewed recently with Katie Zelem.

“I’m really grateful to be given this opportunity and want to make sure I hit the ground running this season and contribute as much as I can. I feel great in myself and I’m really looking forward to the new campaign,” said Staniforth.
