Lucy Whipp extends with Birmingham City

Lucy Whipp extends with Birmingham City for one more season and will stay in the Second city until June 2022.

The 25-year-old started her professional career with Everton, where she played for two seasons. In 2015, she moved to the United States, pursuing her higher education while playing for St. John’s Red Storm college team. In 2019, she returned back to Europe in a Birmingham’s shirt and will start her third season in the Second city.

“I am really excited to have signed for another year and it is another season to play in the WSL. There is a lot to be excited about this season with a new Head Coach, new staff and lots of new faces,” Whipp said for bcfc.com
