Lydia Williams moves to Brighton

Lydia Williams moves to Brighton & Hove Albion from Paris Saint-Germain. She signed a contract until the end of the next season.

The 34-year-old has a diverse CV from playing for various clubs across four continents. The experienced goalkeeper spent most of her career in Australia, but also has experience from Sweden, USA, and England. Last summer, Williams joined PSG on a one-year contract. She made two appearances for the club from the French capital.

“I am really excited to join the club and cannot wait to contribute towards the season,” said Williams. The Seagulls also recently signed Zoe Morse, Brianna Visalli, Dejana Stefanovic and Guro Bergsvand
