Manchester United sign Vilde Bøe Risa, who is joining Red Devils from Norwegian side Il Sandviken. She signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional year.
The 26-year-old is leaving Sandviken just after three appearances after she was training with them when her contract with Göteborg expired. Prior to her brief spell on Sweden, the Norwegian midfielder, with 37 caps for the national team, spent 6 years with Arna-Bjørnar, where she debuted on senior level.
“I’m happy to be here, at such a big club that I have grown up supporting. Manchester United is huge in Norway, so to be able to come here and play for the team now is a dream come true,” said the Norwegian for the club’s website.
