Manuela Zinsberger pens a new deal with Arsenal

Manuela Zinsberger pens a new deal with Arsenal with an undisclosed contract duration.

The 28-year-old started her senior career in Austria with SV Neulengbach, but soon moved to Frauen Bundesliga when she signed for FC Bayern München. After five years, the Austrian goalkeeper left Germany and joined Arsenal. Since then, the Gunners’ no. 1 between the post made a total of 113 appearances, keeping a clean sheet 49 times.

I’m so happy to have signed a new contract with this club. I’m so motivated to continue to develop myself as a goalkeeper but also grow as a person – and with the progression that’s taken place here on and off the pitch since I joined, I know this is the right place for me to do that,” said Zinsberger for arsenal.com.
