Martha Thomas joins Manchester United from West Ham United and signs a two-year contract with an optional one-year extension.
The 25-year-old started her senior career in France with Le Havre after finishing the University in the USA, where she played for her college team, Charlotte 49ers. In 2019, she moved to West Ham United, where the Scottish striker with 8 caps played for the last two seasons. In the last season, Thomas played in 20 matches and scored 5 goals for the Hammers.
“I’m excited to be joining Manchester United, I’ve been impressed with the success the club has had over the last few years and that was a real drive for me to come here. I want to be enjoying my football again and I’m looking forward to challenging myself in this environment and being part of an attacking team where I can express myself,” said Thomas.
Martha Thomas is another United’s signing, joining Aoife Mannion, Vilde Bøe Risa, Hannah Blundell and Sophie Baggaley.
