Martha Thomas transfers to Tottenham from a fellow WSL side, Manchester United. She signed a two-year deal, until June 2025.
The 27-year-old started her professional career in France with Le Havre after finishing her college career in the United States. In 2019, the Scottish striker returned home, signing for West Ham United. Two years later, Thomas moved to Manchester United, where she played for the last two seasons, making a total of 53 appearances. At international level, she has won 26 senior caps to date, scoring 11 goals.
“It feels really good. I can’t wait to get started. There’s a lot of ambition to finish even higher in the league,” said Thomas, who joins Barbora Votíková, Olga Ahtinen and Luana Bühler as the latest newcomer. The Spurs also signed Zhang Linyan on loan from Chinese Women’s Super League club Wuhan Jianghan University.
