Maya Le Tissier moves to Manchester United from Brighton & Hove Albion. She signed a two-year contract, until June 2024.
The 20-year-old has been with the Seagulls for the last four seasons. Named in the top 10 best young footballers in the world, the English defender has been one of the Brighton’s key players. During her time in the south of England, Le Tissier made 73 appearances and scored two goals. The Red Devils have already signed Grace Clinton, Rachel Williams and Adriana Leon recently.
“It’s very special for me to come to a club like Manchester United. The ambition and values of the club suit me as a person and it’s a very exciting project here that I want to be a part of. Today is a very proud moment for me and I can’t wait to pull on the famous red shirt,” added Le Tissier.
