Mayra Ramirez joins Chelsea for the record fee from Levante UD. She signed a contract until June 2027.
The 24-year-old arrived to Europe and signed for Sporting Huelva in 2020 after having previously played in her native Colombia. In 2022, Ramirez joined Levante. During her time in Liga F, the Colombian forward played 95 matches and scored 32 goals. According to the reports, her transfer beat the world record fee, set by Keira Welsh. The Blues reportedly paid around €500k.
“I am very honoured to be a part of Chelsea. ‘To be part of such a huge club is a dream come true and one I’ve had since I was a little girl,” said Ramirez.
