Mayumi Pacheco transfers to Aston Villa

Mayumi Pacheco transfers to Aston Villa from West Ham United for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old started her senior career with Liverpool, with whom she played at the highest level of English football. Later, Pacheco moved to Doncaster Rovers and played in the Championship for two seasons. The English left-back returned to the Women’s Super League as a Reading player. In 2020, she moved to the Hammers and made 17 appearances in the last season.

“I am very excited to be here. Just looking at the facilities, it’s an amazing setup. I’m really excited to get started with the girls and I cannot wait to hit the ground running,” Pacheco said.
