Megan Walsh signs for West Ham United on a free transfer following her contract expiration with Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 28-year-old has plenty of experience from the English top tier, having made over 100 appearances. The English-born goalkeeper who plays for Ireland national team wore jerseys of Aston Villa, Everton, Notts County, Yeowil Town and most recently Brighton. For the Seagulls, Walsh played 76 matches across four seasons. In London, she will provide strong competition for Hammer’s no.1, Mackenzie Arnold.
“I’m really pleased to be joining West Ham United. It’s an amazing Club with a great history,” Walsh added in her first interview. The Hammers also signed Emma Harries and Katelin Talbert recently.
