Melissa Lawley renews with a newly promoted Liverpool

Melissa Lawley renews with a newly promoted Liverpool.

The 28-year-old played for Bristol, Birmingham City and Manchester City before joining Liverpool back in 2019. The English winger already has experience from the Women’s Super League, where she played with Birmingham City and Manchester City. In the last season, Lawley played 25 matches for the Reds.

“I’m looking forward to playing in the top flight again and push on from last season, getting the assists and hopefully scoring more goals, playing with a smile on my face and I know that’s going to happen with this group of girls,” added Lawley.
