Mia Fishel signs for Chelsea

Mia Fishel signs for Chelsea, joining the club from Mexican side Tigres. She penned a three-year deal until June 2026.

The 22-year-old moved to Mexico after finishing her college career at UCLA. The American forward was selected as the 5th pick of the 2022 NWSL Draft by Orlando Pride but decided to leave the States and played in Liga MX, where she played 48 matches and scored 38 goals. The Blues reportedly paid a transfer fee of $250,000 to the Mexican club.

“I’m super excited, it’s a dream come true and everything that I’ve worked for since I was a kid until now. It’s all worth it and it’s all paid off because now I’m playing for one of the best clubs in the world,” said Fishel who joins Brooke Aspin, Hannah Hampton, Ashley Lawrence, Alejandra Bernabe, and Catarina Macario as the latest newcomer.
