Missy Goodwin extends with Leicester City and will stay with the club on “a long-term” after the club did not disclose the duration of the contract.
The 20-year-old played for Birmingham City and Aston Villa youth academy. She debuted on the senior level in 2021 in Villa’s cup game agaisnt Sheffield United. Last year, the English forward joined the Foxes and has since played a total of 32 matches and scored two goals.
“It’s really exciting to sign a new contract with LCFC Women. After what we did last season, it’s great to have the chance to build on what we created and exciting to be a part of,” added Goodwin, joining Courtney Nevin and CJ Bott who also recently renewed their stays.
