Missy Goodwin moves to Leicester City

Missy Goodwin moves to Leicester City from Aston Villa. The English youngster signed a contract until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old played for Birmingham City and Aston Villa in youth categories. She debuted on the senior level last November in the League Cup. An English international forward in the U-19 category will try to get some hands-on experience with the Foxes.

“It’s really exciting. It’s been good to get going. It’s a great environment and the facilities speak for themselves. I just think it’s a club that has got great ambitions and the process that they have been through so far just to get into the Super League is fantastic, and it’s something that I couldn’t wait to join,” said Goodwin for lcfc.com.

The Foxes announced the arrival of another English talent from Aston Villa. Freya Gregory will play for Leicester City until the end of the season on a loan. The 18-year-old winger debuted in the Women’s Super League at the age of 17 and made 6 appearances in the current season so far.
