Niamh Charles extends with Chelsea

Niamh Charles extends with Chelsea and will stay in London for at least three-and-a-half more years, until June 2027.

The 24-year-old joined the Blues in 2020 from Liverpool, where she kicked off her senior career. Since then, the English left-back has contributed to three Women’s Super League titles, three FA Cups, and League Cup. In the last season, Charles was one of the most used players in the Emma Hayes’ side, making 39 appearances.

“I’m really happy and grateful. I’ve had a good few years here. I’ve developed a lot and I’m really looking forward to the future and what the next few years hold,” Charles added.
