Niamh Fahey extends with Liverpool and will continue playing for the Reds also in the next season.
The 35-year-old played for Galway, Arsenal, Chelsea and Bordeaux before joining Liverpool in 2018. She stayed with the Reds throughout their time in the Championship and returned to the Women’s Super League for the last season. The Irish defender, with over 100 caps for the national team, played 80 matches for the Merseyside team.
“It was an easy decision and I’m delighted to extend my contract at this fantastic club – I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else,” she said for the club’s website.
