Nikita Parris transfers to Arsenal after spending last two seasons in France with Lyon.
The 27-year-old started her career with Everton, but soon moved to Manchester City. During her time in Manchester, she won the 2016 Women’s Super League and two Super League and FA cups. Before she left England for Lyon in 2019, she was also an all-time leading scorer in Women’s Super League with 49 goals. With Lyon, she won the Women’s Champions League in 2020. After an unsuccessful season in France, she decided to return to England.
“I’m very happy to be here, Arsenal has an unbelievable history and I want to be a part of this. I want to achieve all domestic titles and compete in the Champions League here. I’m happy to be back in the WSL which has grown and improved so much since I left,” Parris said.
