Nikita Parris transfers to Manchester United from a fellow Super League side, Arsenal. She signed a two-year contract, until June 2024.
The 28-year-old started her senior career with Everton. Initially on loan, later on a permanent basis, the English forward joined Manchester City, where she spent four seasons. After two seasons abroad with Lyon, Parris returned to the Women’s Super League last year, when she signed for the Gunners. She was also part of the Lioness team that won the Women’s Euro 2022 last week.
“It feels unbelievable to be here. It’s been quite a summer, and this tops it off. Manchester United is an historic club who are making big movements in the WSL and I can’t wait to be a part of our future success,” said Parris, who joins Lucia Garcia, Maya Le Tissier, Grace Clinton, Rachel Williams and Adriana Leon as the latest summer arrival.
